Origami Letter Writing Set - Nature Study Pack

Inspired by origami, Pigeon is a beautifully crafted combination of letter and envelope. Six pre-folded letters per pack, that fold into their own envelope and are sealed with a stamp, provide a deeply satisfying and more personal alternative to the always-on, instant-gratification tools we all use to communicate these days.

These exquisite wood engravings by Scotland-based artist Angie Lewin take you on a wonderful wander along coastline and through countryside, passing grassy meadows and corn-filled fields, before stopping off at the beach to explore the hidden treasures of a rockpool. With a nod to the nature tables of childhood, these Pigeons capture the detail and diversity of the natural world and will bring delight to children and adults alike.

Angie Lewin creates limited edition linocut, wood engraving, lithograph and screen prints alongside her original watercolours – often inspired by skeletal plant forms seen against the sea and sky of North Norfolk and the Scottish Highlands. She is a member of the Royal Watercolour Society, the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers, the Society of Wood Engravers and the Art Workers’ Guild.

Materials
All Pigeons are printed with vegetable-based inks on FSC paper and are printed, hand-folded, and packed within 10 miles of the Pigeon Loft, here in the UK. They are committed to planting up to 30 trees a year via a regular donation to the John Muir Trust and do their best to keep all plastics out of their supply chain.
