Origami Letter Writing Set - Fig & Feather Pack

Inspired by origami, Pigeon is a beautifully crafted combination of letter and envelope. Six pre-folded letters per pack, that fold into their own envelope and are sealed with a stamp, provide a deeply satisfying and more personal alternative to the always-on, instant-gratification tools we all use to communicate these days.

When they first flew into the Pigeon Loft we just knew they’d be the perfect carriers for your correspondence. So pick up a pen (or quill) and get scribbling. Fun or factual, serious or silly – whatever you write on one of these little beauties is certain to cheer up anyone’s day.

Melissa Castrillon is an English and Colombian illustrator based in the southeast of England. She takes inspiration from wandering around old antique shops, and travelling to Colombia where bright woven crafts and fantastical plants help feed her sketchbooks and create new designs. She is motivated by punchy colour combos, inventive compositions, and unusual patterns. Her work has won the Gold Medal award from the Society of Illustrators in New York, and she has illustrated book covers for Philip Pullman’s His dark materials series.

Materials
All Pigeons are printed with vegetable-based inks on FSC paper and are printed, hand-folded, and packed within 10 miles of the Pigeon Loft, here in the UK. They are committed to planting up to 30 trees a year via a regular donation to the John Muir Trust and do their best to keep all plastics out of their supply chain.
