Rosanna Elise Morris
Rosanna has spent most of her career telling stories - writing and editing features for national lifestyle magazines. A few years ago, she picked up a brush and starting painting her favourite flowers. Rosanna's botanical works are now admired and collected internationally by floral artists, interior designers, flower growers, and gardeners.
Rosanna's plant portraits aim to tell the story of a flower, presenting detailed stems against blocks of colour inspired by the hues of gardens and interiors. she is especially drawn to historic tulips and bearded irises for their exquisite movement, shapes, textures, colours, and markings. Rosanna use's gouache and enjoys capturing plants as they stand in the soil as well in the vase.
