Christopher Allan

Chris Allan is a painter and printmaker. He started his career in abstract painting but over the past 15 years he has gradually moved his work to explore the natural world around us. He's been inspired by the 17th century Dutch flower paintings as well as many generations of Japanese artists.He works with acrylic and watercolour in his paintings, and uses etching, aquatint and drypoint in is prints.
