Visitor's Guide to Frome

What a lovey, sunny, mild spell of weather we're having at the moment! It's ideal for discovering new places near and far for a short break and our beautiful town, Frome, with its pretty winding streets is the perfect fall getaway.

You could book yourself a chic room upstairs at Bistro Lotte, a lovely french bistro with a sister bar next door that also happen to have the best live music in town. Jazz, folk or blues we are blessed with many talented residents here who are happy to jam together for our delight on Wednesday nights.

Your taste buds would definitely be spoilt with so many cafes serving delicious treats. Ideal if the heavens were to open suddenly!

We would have coffee at Moo and Two on Catherine Hill, breakfast at Cafe La Strada on Cheap Street, lunch at Nook, cake at River House and dinner at The High Pavement.

You can wander through the galleries that showcase local and international artists (we love Gallery at the Station) pick up a first edition from the Frome Bookshop, the newest release from The Hunting Raven and browse the magical record shop: Raves from the Grave.

If you are lucky enough to come on the first Sunday of the month, you would be able to experience our truly amazing market, the Frome Independent, when artisan makers, food stalls and music overtakes the town centre.

And of course once you're in Frome you simply cannot pass visiting us to say 'Hello'.

Hope to see you very soon.
