As we step into June, Father's Day is only just around the corner. We’ve have our thinking caps on and have put together a list of all the best things going on in around Frome. With ideas for golfing Dad’s to history buffs, hopefully we can provide some inspiration for finding that ultimate treat!
Bath Festival of Motoring, Walcot Rugby Ground
Over the whole of the Father’s Day weekend, Bath’s Festival of Motoring will give you and your Dad a chance to get up close and personal with over 500 vintage and classic cars and motorbikes. There is also the chance to hear some live music, try your hand at clay pigeon shooting and the Lansdown Model Flying Club display.
For the adventurous type, Vobster Quay Inland Diving Centre offer a huge range of lessons and equipment rentals for use in Vobster Quay. If your Dad is just testing the waters, how about a 2 hour ‘Discover Scuba’ session which is an easy introduction to exploring the underwater world. For more experienced divers there is are also plenty of courses available including lessons in open water diving and rescue diving.

BBQ and Beer Festival, The Artisan Pub, Frome
From 12-4pm on Father's Day, The Artisan will be firing up the BBQ on the garden terrace and offering a range of local, craft ales and beers. There will also be free face-painting and a craft table to entertain the little ones while Dad puts his feet up!
