Brrrrr, seems like the chilly, damp season is upon us.
Time to order the logs for the fireplace, dig out those wooly jumpers and socks and cosy up by the fire... preferably with s'mores or at least a good book!
As we sadly say goodbye to summer memories, I can't help but get excited about the prospect of crisp mornings, the sound of leaves under my feet and the long winter evenings spent with family and friends gathered over a casserole and a board game.
It's time to make new, different sort of memories. Slow and lazy and cosy ones.
To help you keeping warm whether you're inside or out facing the elements, are these beautiful lambswool throws and scarves from Ireland's famous wool mill, McNutts of Donegal.
Perfect on your shoulders when working on the computer all day...
If bold colours and fun patterns are more your thing, these Miss PomPom scarves and hats will surely brighten up any grey mood you might find yourself in.
I'm planning to wear mine with a long black coat...
For the ultimate afternoon date with your sofa, you would need a good book (I'm just cosying down with Karl Ove Knausgård's 'My Struggle' series for the winter...), a cup of hot chocolate, and candle, a fire and a firm but soft cushion in a cheerful design to cuddle up with...
Keep dry and enjoy the change of season!
