Sergei Butter Dish

Sergei the strongman butter dish, is as strong as a heard of elephants and also as soft as butter. Ex circus now looking for new employment and a new home, loves butter and is available for adoption.

Jo takes inspiration from folklore to fashion and creates one of a kind  designs which elevate everyday objects into unique characters .

Bringing to life these characters in ceramic form in her shed of dreams, she uses a mix of approaches from painted slips, sgraffito, glaze application, sculptural elements and hand-built structures to create her pieces.
Jo believes that everyday objects deserve more personality and hopes that you will  fall for them too.

Please Note: Each piece is hand made so will vary slightly in shape and colour but this gives each little character its own unique personality!
